“The Stroll”
Downtown Business District
6:00 -8:00 pm
Come take a step back in time and experience the Christmas season at our annual Victorian Stroll.
More than 30 storefronts come alive with living Christmas cards. Each window depicts a different scene. Past years have shown. . .Scrooge counting every last penny. . .a grandmother donned in her night cap reading “The Night before Christmas” to her grandchild as she rocks the child to sleep…and the little matchstick girl striking each match desperately trying to stay warm. This year we are working on a puppet show in one window, along with other wonderful window displays.
In addition to the live window scenes there is so much more to see and do. Listen to the many carolers sing in the streets, Courthouse and in some of the businesses.
